Do the prices on your website include VAT?
Yes, all the prices on this website include UK VAT at 20%.
The breakdown of taxes is shown on the checkout page.

 For all buyers outside of the United Kingdom, including the EU, Jersey, Guernsey, Switzerland and Norway, VAT will be removed (zero-rated).
You will therefore be required to pay any local VAT/GST when the products arrive into your country.

 

 

I have a question about my order, what do I do?
We are happy to advise on any questions you may have about an order - to get in touch, please email sales@upshiftstore.co.uk quoting your 7-digit Order Number. If you do not have your order number to hand, please provide your delivery address and contact information and we will match your details to any orders on the system. We can then advise on any queries you may have.



Can I edit my order?
Yes, you can edit your order any time up until it is dispatched. You can add more items, remove any items, and amend any product selections in your order.

To edit your order, please email sales@upshiftstore.co.uk with the email subject being your 7-digit Order Number. Once validated, we shall amend your order on our system and then you will be automatically sent an order edited email along with either an invoice for any outstanding monies, or reimbursed any outstanding amount (where applicable)

 

 

Do you offer Click & Collect?
Yes! We provide a free Click & Collect service so your order can be collected within just 2 hours of ordering, though some orders may require longer.

I am buying for business, are you VAT registered and can you issue a full VAT receipt?
Yes, Upshift is a VAT registered company in the United Kingdom, GB328028511.
Regarding VAT receipts, simply place your order as normal, providing the appropriate billing & delivery address, and we will send you a full sales receipt.

 

 

Do you accept payment via PayPal?
Yes, we accept PayPal payment for orders, however there are 2 criteria all PayPal payments are subject to:

1) 3% PayPal restocking fee non-refundable charge due to PayPal charging these non-refundable expenses. Should you edit/cancel your order, 3% of the order total cannot be refunded due to PayPal's non-refunding fee policy.

2) A PayPal payment surcharge may apply on your order, dependent on order value. The majority of orders will be without a surcharge so order total will remain the same, however we may apply a surcharge of up to 2% for UK domestic orders, up to 5% for international orders involving currency conversion, to cover PayPal's higher, non-refundable fees. This will apply in addition to criterion 1 above.

If you want to pay by PayPal, please email us and we shall arrange the payment through PayPal, subject to criteria 1 and 2 above.

 

 

Do you accept Purchase Orders (POs) ?
Yes, we accept Purchase Orders from corporate clients. Please email us to discuss requirements.

 

 

Do you have an installation service?

I am very interested in sim racing, but I:
i) am not confident with technology so I'm unsure how to connect everything;
ii) am not confident with building the rig;
iii) do not have enough time to set up everything;
iv) would rather it is all done for me

Yes, we do provide an installation service for an additional fee - more information on this service can be found on the dedicated Assembly & Installation page.

Firstly, we would like to point out that although racing simulators may initially appear daunting to beginners, fundamentally they aren't that complicated. For example, all our rigs, seats and monitor stands come with very detailed assembly guides that walk you through the entire assembly process. Furthermore, the racing wheel & pedals come with software programs that are especially designed to be easy to use and understand for novices and new users, with a wealth of customisation and fine tuning options for you  to utilise as you become more familiar. In our experience, nearly all customers are able to set up their simulators from scratch - and whenever there are any hurdles, we are happy to provide support and guidance. Indeed, for many people, the setup of the simulator is an integral part of the process, giving you a more innate understanding of your simulator.

We appreciate however that there are people who are lacking in confidence -  whether it be technological proficiency, or in building a sim rig, or both - and indeed some who simply do not have enough time in a day to spend hours setting up all the equipment. We are therefore able to offer a full assembly & installation service on all our products. This is at an additional cost, and depends on geographic location. We service all mainland areas of England, Scotland and Wales.

 

Do you ship to Freight Forwarding companies?
No, we do not ship to any freight forwarding companies in UK or abroad - we only deliver direct to the customer. Any orders placed to freight forwarding companies will be cancelled and cancellation fee deducted from the refund. Please see Section 11 of our Terms & Conditions for further information.

 

 

 

I represent a sim racing team - will you sponsor us?
We receive lots of sponsorship enquiries - we are always interested in partnering with exciting teams, however before emailing us, consider what value you could offer Upshift. We are only interested in sponsoring established, high-achieving teams, who have a very large following and who conduct themselves in a professional manner.
