The Asetek Forte Formula Steering Wheel is the perfect complement to your Asetek Forte or Asetek Invicta Direct Drive wheelbase.

As an official UK supplier of Asetek products, when you purchase from Upshift the price we advertise is the final price you will pay - there won't be any duties/fees. Delivery is free to all mainland UK addresses and we ship goods from our UK warehouse.

Utilising Asetek's quick release system, the wheel is easily connected and disconnected – literally, all you have to do to disconnect the wheel from the base is to press a paddle and the wheel will be released into your hands! Asetek's pursuit for the ultimate steering wheel means that their quick release system incorporates the charging/powering of the steering wheel, so there are NO batteries that need to be charged, the steering wheel is powered directly from the wheelbase. Furthermore, this ingenious system means there is no reliance on wireless signals or cables that can break or fall off - everything is included and operated through their easy-to-use no-play quick release. Very impressive innovation.

The Forte Formula Steering Wheel features two contactless magnetic shifter paddles, for fast and seamless gear shifts. Furthermore, the wheel is easily upgradeable to a dual-clutch for perfect race starts as well as two additional mappable paddles that for example can be used for effortless overtakes and DRS activations. As well as this, there are a total of 49 fully customisable aRGB LEDs including rev and flag lights, all customisable through Asetek's RaceHub software that is included free of charge with all their products.

The Asetek Forte Formula Steering Wheel is another part of the growing Asetek ecosystem, ideally paired with either their 18Nm Forte Direct Drive wheelbase or 27Nm Invicta Direct Drive wheelbase, and the Forte / Invicta sim racing pedals.

Currently the Asetek Forte/Invicta Direct Drive wheelbases are only compatible with PC, therefore this steering wheel is also only compatible with PC.
Whilst Asetek are working on implementing console compatibility, there is no confirmed timeline, so this unit is only compatible with PC. If you want more information on the Asetek's Forte Formula Steering Wheel, their CEO André explains their range of wheelbases fantastically in this video:

Manufacturer description - Asetek SimSports® Forte® Formula Steering Wheel:

Inspired by real-life Formula cars, the Asetek SimSports® Forte® Formula Steering Wheel is crafted for ultimate performance.

Equipped with 128 individual input options, the Forte wheel allows you to customize and map all buttons, switches, encoders, and paddles to create the steering wheel that fits you the best.

To reinforce the overall anti-flex and create a proper interface for the removable handles, the chassis features a metal spider interface. This guarantees a rigid, non-flexing steering wheel that allows you to change handles over time, ensuring the wheel always suits your needs perfectly.

Many wheels, sim racing or real-life racing, get their strength and rigidity from the front face plate and the handles, oftentimes in a closed construction (handlebars are in mechanical connection in both ends). Unfortunately, that also makes them locked in size and design. To achieve maximum stiffness and at the same time allowing you, the user, to easily change the handles, add clutches, DRS paddles. we use an injection molded chassis with a carbon, glass and plastic composite material providing a very high natural rigidity and strength and featuring a laser etched forged carbon exterior whilst not relying on the handlebars to provide strength and stiffness.

To add to the overall anti-flex and a proper interface to the removable handles, the chassis features a metal spider interface inside and altogether it yields a stiff, non-flexing steering wheel where the handles can be changed and or upgraded over time to help give you the steering wheel YOU want! For now, we have two different sizes, the default giving a perfect fit and grip for average size hands and an XL version for larger hands.

The ergonomic handles are made in a comfortable, soft and durable silicone rubber, that is easy to clean and disinfect and will give you ultimate comfort and control, regardless of whether you are wearing racing gloves or not. You will have the option to easily change the handles to quickly implement future upgrades to color, size, shape and hardness.

The front face of the wheel is made in a 1mm woven carbon plate providing a beautiful home for all the buttons switches.

With plenty of inputs, the Asetek SimSports® Forte® Formula Steering Wheel will, through our RaceHubgive you the option to customize and map all buttons, switches, encoders, and paddles you need to be on top of your game. Featuring 12 push buttons, two 2-way toggle switches and two 7-way kinky switches, three rotary encoders, and six thumb encoders, you are able to control all of your desired settings.

All buttons, switches and rotaries are of the highest quality standards and fully tested and validated in our automated button testing machines to ensure years and years of reliable daily use.

The Forte® wheel features no less than 49 fully customisable aRGB LEDs including rev and flag lights - allowing you to not only customise the look of your steering wheel, but also help you make those split-second decisions that can make the difference between success and failure. LEDs can, of course, be adjusted, dimmed, colour customised and mapped in RaceHub, with many many more features to come. Each button and LED can be clearly marked via the provided sticker sheet providing a backlit label for each function on your wheel.

The backside features, by default, two contactless magnetic shifter paddles, for fast and seamless gear shifts. Easily upgradeable to a dual-clutch for perfect race starts as well as two additional mappable paddles that for example can be used for effortless overtake and DRS activation. All paddles and associated mechanics are, like the wheel chassis itself, injection molded in an ultralight and stiff carbon composite material.

All Asetek SimSports® steering wheels feature our own quick release system, that is as easy to use as shifting gears – literally, as to disconnect the wheel from the base, all you have to do is to press a paddle, and the wheel will be in your hands! Needless to say, we are not relying on wireless signals, batteries that need to be charged, or cables that can break or fall off. Everything is included in our easy-to-use no-play quick release.

Our relentless focus on Performance and Precision without breaking the bank, gives the Asetek SimSports® Forte® Formula Steering Wheel a competitive edge, allowing you to get down to the tarmac and be one with your virtual racecar. Providing you with the quality and durability you have come to expect from Asetek.
