The Trak Racer TR8 Pro is an excellent tubular steel sim rig, unlike many of the other sim rigs that we sell which are aluminium profile sim rigs. The TR8 Pro is finished in a stylish matt black colour, and the fundamental advantage is its ease of assembly, however inherently there is less adjustment and modularity, so there is a trade off.
The TR8 Pro is the latest version of Trak Racer's TR8 Sim Rig, featuring iterative improvements over its predecessors and sharing design elements with their flagship TRX. The TR8 Pro is constructed from tubular steel so the rig is strong & rigid, and adjustable too, though not as much as an equivalently priced aluminium profile sim rig. By contrast, aluminium profile sim rigs offer greater levels of adjustability and versatility, so are potentially a better investment for anyone who wants a rig that will last for years to come and could better evolve to accommodate their setup as you upgrade your wheel, pedals etc in the future. The TR8 Pro includes includes a small shifter arm, a seat slider and seat brackets.
Owing to its strong and heavy steel construction, the TR8 Pro is very rigid and strong, suitable for use with all Fanatec, Logitech and Thrustmaster wheels. For the most powerful Direct Drive wheels, like Simucube 2 & Simucube 3, Asetek Invicta and so on, we would instead recommend either the Trak Racer TR160 or R-MAX 160x40 Sim Rig, as these 160x40 aluminium profile sim rigs are ultimately more rigid and are better suited to these. extremely powerful wheelbases and typically accompanying pedals too.

Many people choose an accompanying Trak Racer Seat, however there are also many more seats to choose from besides these which will fit directly onto the TR8 Pro with either Trak Racer's Universal Seat Brackets or their Recline Seat brackets.

Strengthened Pedal Plate
The TR8 PRO has been improved to withstand up to 180kgs of braking for force without flex. We have also added pre-drilled mounting points for more new pedal sets on the market.
More Adjustable & Strengthened Wheel Mount
We have added a wheel mount slider to the TR8 PRO to give you 130mm forward and back adjustment with the use of proprietary ball-bearing-assisted sliders. We have also strengthened the 2" tube to withstand up to 30nm direct drive steering wheel torque without flex.
Adjustable, Strengthened Left/Right Side Shifter Mount
The shifter mount has been strengthened by increasing the thickness of the mount and also the plate on the simulator that it mounts to. We have even added mounting points to enable the shifter mount to move forwards and back.
OPTIONAL INTEGRATED SINGLE MONITOR STAND
The integrated monitor stand is an optional extra with height adjustment for the monitor, and also forward and back adjustment. The complete design has been improved to provide a more rock-solid mount.
