MOZA CRP2 Load Cell Pedals combine a 200kg-rated brake load cell, a high-resolution 15-bit angle sensor and extensive mechanical adjustment in a premium two-pedal throttle-and-brake set. Constructed from CNC-machined aerospace-grade aluminium with a steel base and genuine 3K twill carbon-fibre heel plate, the CRP2 is designed for sim racers who want repeatable braking, adjustable pedal feel and solid long-term construction.
Why upgrade to MOZA CRP2 load cell pedals?
Braking consistency is one of the most useful improvements a driver can make to a sim racing setup. Unlike pedals that principally measure how far the brake moves, a load-cell brake measures the force applied. That makes it easier to build muscle memory for braking points, hold consistent pressure through heavy braking zones and release the brake progressively when trail braking towards the apex.
The CRP2 combines a 0–200kg-rated load cell with a 15-bit magnetic angle sensor, using MOZA's sensor-fusion system to interpret brake inputs accurately throughout the pedal stroke. The 200kg figure is the sensor's rated measuring range, not a requirement to apply 200kg of force with your foot. Brake output can be calibrated to your preferred pressure in MOZA Pit House.
Adjustable Brake Feel for GT, Formula and Road Racing
The CRP2 brake is designed to be fine tuned by the end user rather than forced to feel the same for every driver. Interchangeable damping components let you adjust brake pedal resistance and progression, accommodating anything from a comparatively forgiving soft road-car feel to a short, firm race-car-style pedal - and everything in between. This makes the CRP2 pedals a genuinely excellent pedal set for the true majority of drivers – MOZA says there's more than 100 standard brake-feel arrangements!
Formula and GT drivers may favour a firm, relatively short-travel brake for repeatable threshold braking, whereas road-car or rally enthusiasts may prefer a more progressive response. The adjustment range does not mean more brake force is always better: a setting that you can comfortably and consistently reproduce is generally the more useful choice.
Precision Electronics: 200kg Load Cell and 15-bit sensor
The integrated magnetic angle sensor offers 15-bit resolution (32,768 steps), working alongside the force sensor to provide accurate pedal-position and pressure information. MOZA describes its approach as a sensor-fusion algorithm, designed to combine the strengths of both measurement methods. The result is a brake system with considerable scope for fine calibration and consistent feedback from your inputs.
CNC aluminium construction and carbon-fibre heel plate
The pedal bodies are CNC-machined from aerospace-grade aluminium alloy, supported by a high-strength steel base. The 3K twill carbon-fibre heel plate provides a purposeful finish and a suitable contact surface for your feet, while textured pedal faces help give a secure, consistent feel during repeated braking and throttle inputs. MOZA also uses polished shafts and internal damping components to keep operation smooth and comparatively quiet.
Extensive ergonomic adjustment
The CRP2 includes adjustment for the brake and throttle pedal's travel, angle and position, letting you accommodate different leg lengths, seating angles and driving styles. MOZA specifies a 15–20° brake travel range, 15–23° throttle travel range, 0–15° pedal angle adjustment and up to 30mm of pedal-face height adjustment. The heel-rest position is also adjustable by up to 30mm.
The throttle supports two spring options and continuous resistance adjustment, so it can feel lighter or firmer according to preference. These adjustments are designed to make the CRP2 comfortable in a variety of cockpits, but exact mounting-hole compatibility should be checked against your pedal deck before fitting.
MOZA Pit House calibration and pedal curves
MOZA Pit House lets you view live pedal inputs and refine how the hardware responds in-game. Adjustable pedal curves, pressure engagement points and calibration settings help tailor the brake and throttle for different cars, particularly when you want to balance strong braking force with smooth release on corner entry. Direct USB connection means the CRP2 can be used with compatible Windows PC setups even when the steering wheelbase is from another brand.
Standard 2-pedal setup or Upgrade to a 3-pedal setup
This CRP2 by default is a two-pedal CRP2 throttle-and-brake set. It does not include a clutch pedal.
A separate MOZA CRP2 Clutch Pedal is available to create a three-pedal arrangement for manual gearboxes, rally cars and road-car simulations; the optional clutch adds a tunable, three-stage resistance characteristic. A separate inverted mounting kit is also available for drivers seeking a suspended-pedal layout.
The standard two-pedal kit does not include the optional Brake Performance Kit, the clutch pedal or the inverted mounting kit. Avoid assuming optional hardware shown in manufacturer illustrations is supplied as standard.
Windows PC Compatibility
Windows PC: The CRP2 can connect directly via USB and can be used with many third-party wheelbase brands. This is attractive if you want to upgrade your pedals without replacing your existing steering system.
Xbox: Compatibility depends on the officially supported MOZA wheelbase and licensed steering-wheel combination. Direct USB connection to the console alone does not guarantee support. Please check the exact console configuration before ordering.
PlayStation is not officially supported.
