Choosing your MOZA sim racing equipment

A good MOZA setup starts with the platform you race on, the force feedback you want and the way you prefer to brake and steer. UPSHIFT stocks direct drive wheelbases, steering wheels and load cell pedals, with individual guides to help you choose compatible equipment without overbuying.

Direct drive wheelbases: balance torque and detail

Our MOZA direct drive wheelbases include the R12 V2 (12Nm peak torque, £399) and R16 Ultra (16Nm sustained torque, £499, with a software-enabled peak boost). Either is an appreciable upgrade from an entry-level wheel, but the correct choice depends on preferred steering forces, the cars you drive and cockpit rigidity. Compare MOZA wheelbases and mounting considerations.

Steering wheels: choose the right rim and platform

Our MOZA steering wheels cover three different needs: the KS Pro for formula and GT racing, the CS Pro with a versatile 325mm round rim, and the compact ESX for officially licensed Xbox compatibility with supported MOZA wheelbases. For the ESX, UPSHIFT recommends no higher than the R16 Ultra because of its 280mm diameter. Compare wheel shapes, controls and Xbox compatibility.

Load cell pedals: improve braking consistency

The MOZA pedals range covers two approaches: the CRP2 throttle-and-brake set for adjustable, pressure-based load-cell braking, and the mBooster Active Pedal Set with CRP2 Throttle for software-defined brake feel and supported telemetry-driven feedback. The CRP2's 200kg figure is a sensor rating, not required foot force. Both deserve a rigid pedal mounting solution. Compare MOZA pedal systems and modular upgrades.

Before ordering: confirm PC or Xbox compatibility, wheelbase and pedal mounting, and supported game functions. The specialist collections below go into the technical detail, adjustments and practical suitability for each product category.
